Friday, October 20th: Annual Dinner and Auction

Join Us for Flint Riverkeeper's
Annual Dinner and Auction Event

benefitting Flint Riverkeeper's work to restore and protect the Flint River watershed

Friday, October 20, 2017

Located along the Flint River in southeast Meriwether County, Morgan Farm at Buzzard Roost is situated in one of Georgia’s most geographically unique landscapes.

As the Flint winds through the boundaries of Pike, Upson, Meriwether and Talbot counties it begins to cut through ‘The Cove,’ a four-mile diameter basin of crystalline granite. The Flint River has avoided an easier course on either side and has chosen this spot to cut through four ridges, instead of two, forming picturesque rocky gorges. Buzzard Roost is the most iconic ridge feature associated with this area, and Morgan Farm sits peacefully in the river valley below.

Flint Riverkeeper is honored by the Morgan family’s invitation to host our annual dinner auction event at their beautiful property. Featuring a catered dinner, open bar, live music, silent and live auctions, raffle for an Old Town NEXT canoe, tours and stories of the property, and fellowship with other Flint River friends.

All proceeds from the event benefit Flint Riverkeeper’s program work.

Sponsorships of this well-attended event are a large part of the continued success. This year marks the 6th annual Flint Riverkeeper dinner event. Each year, the location has been within the Flint watershed at stunning private property showcasing the river and natural history of the area.

You or your company can be a part of this distinctive event celebrating the beauty of the Flint River and the work of Flint Riverkeeper by sponsoring this year’s event at Morgan Farm. All donations are  tax-deductible and sponsorship incentives are listed below.
